Assistant Camera-person’s Set Pouch

After noticing that my friend had a Western-style carved leather belt, I thought she might appreciate a tool pouch to use on set in the same style.

This pouch features a main compartment, a wet formed Leatherman holder, pen slots, and D-rings to attach a tape roll, as well as D-rings to turn the pouch into a cross-body bag. The bag was saddle stitched by hand, and designed and patterned from scratch.

It is carved with the owner’s name, as well as a pre-existing western floral design. This sort of carving is very different from a singular stamp; it requires every line be cut and tooled by hand, requiring usually multiple passes for each line.
