This “phoenix knight” costume primarily features tooled leather armor. It is my own entirely original design.
The decorated leather vambraces, pauldrons and breastplate were patterned, cut, tooled, dyed and saddle stitched. Highlights include the multi-color dye and the faux metal finish, as well as the gold leaf accents and straps set with brass rivets.
It is one of my longest ongoing projects- I originally started working on it in 2020, and I am still continuing to work on it as of 2026.
